Terms of use

Plain-language terms. Use the app freely; do not rely on it where safety or religious or legal obligations depend on it.

Use

Stitchlight is provided free of charge, as is, without warranty. You may use it for personal purposes. Do not attempt to disrupt the website.

No guarantee of accuracy

The row counter and Follow-line help you keep your place but can make mistakes, for example when a PDF has no readable row labels. Check your work against the pattern. Calculators give suggestions; check them against your pattern.

Your data

Your data stays on your device. You are responsible for backups; use the export feature. We cannot recover data you delete or clear from your browser.

Third-party content

Pattern PDFs belong to their designers and are only read on your device. PDF rendering uses the open-source pdf.js library (Apache-2.0). Fonts DM Sans and DM Serif Display are served under the SIL Open Font Licence. Stitchlight is not affiliated with Ravelry or any designer.
